🫁 Edinburgh-based 1nhaler (single-use cardboard dry inhalers) raised £1.5 million from Archangels, Scottish Enterprise, and BBB Investments to progress its cardboard inhaler toward regulatory submission in 2027, including “clinical material production and commercial-scale design”. TS SSM ACS
💉 Glasgow-based Phlo (digital pharmacy platform) has been awarded the 2025 HealthTechX Growth Award following a “500% revenue surge across FY2024–FY2025”, with growth tied to its weight-management services and wider digital pharmacy offering. SFN
🍄 Edinburgh-based Rhizocore Technologies raised £4.5 million to scale its fungi-based biotech platform, which is used to improve tree survival and woodland restoration. The round was led by The First Thirty, with participation from Scottish Enterprise, Grosvenor Estate, and “several other investors”. DGT
