💰 Edinburgh-based SaaS training platform Administrate raised £3.05 million in a new funding round from Maven Capital Partners (via the Investment Fund for Scotland), with follow-on involvement from Archangels and Mercia. Administrate is used by corporate clients like Siemens, Royal Caribbean, and Maersk to manage training operations. After raising £5 million last year for its US expansion, Administrate has also introduced an AI scheduler to automate training planning for enterprise customers. UKTN ACS DGT
🧘♂️ Glasgow-based Frog Systems, which developed the digital wellbeing platform Ashia, has been sold to Cheshire-based wellbeing company Raiys after going into administration. The sale safeguards all nine Ashia employees. Raiys, which supports over 750,000 employees across the UK, will incorporate Ashia’s resources and technology into its existing wellbeing services. 📈 Scottish National Investment Bank (SNIB) released its latest annual report and reported income rising to £19.3 million, surpassing its operating costs of £16.1 million for the first time. The Bank committed £224.6 million in capital investments and ‘enabled’ an additional £400 million in co-investments, bringing its total deployed capital since 2020 to around £640 million. Willie Watt (Chairman) Al Denholm (CEO) indicated a more focused investment approach for the coming year due to ‘reduced available capital’. SBN TH
